Board your overnight flight to Athens, Greece. KLM flight 692 departs Toronto at 6:05 p.m. Arrives Amterdam at 7:25 a.m. (following day). Then connect with KLM flight 1575 departs Amsterdam at 12:35 p.m. arrives Athens at 16:35 p.m.

Upon arrival, meet your local representative and transfer from the airport to the hotel . Check-in to your hotel and the remainder of your day is at leisure.

Included Athens city tour with New Acropolis Museum:
Depart from the hotel in the morning for a city tour to observe the striking contrasts that make Athens such a fascinating city.Your expert guide will take you to see the Panathenaic Stadium where the first Olympic Games of modern times were held in 1896 (short stop).
Continue and pass by the Prime Minister’s residence (ex Royal Palace) guarded by the Euzones in their colourful uniform. See and explore the Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Hadrian’s Arch, Parliament and the memorial to the Unknown Soldier as well as other key attractions. Around the Acropolis visit the Architectural Masterpieces of the Golden Age of Athens, which include the Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion and of course, the Parthenon. Continue and visit the New Acropolis Museum and admire the wonders of the Classical Era.

Day 4
Mar. 9, 2020 | ATHENS - ARGOLIS - NAUPLION (B, D)
Leave by the coastal road to the Corinth Canal (short stop). Drive on and visit the Theatre of Epidauros, famous for its remarkable acoustics. Then proceed to Mycenae and visit the Archaeological Site and the Tomb of Agamemnon. Then drive to the stunning seaport town of Nauplion, in the Peloponnese, considered the Venetians’ “Naples of the East” and the first capital of Greece. Enjoy dinner at the hotel this evening.

Day 5
Mar. 10, 2020 | NAUPLION - OLYMPIA (B, D)
In the morning drive to Kalamata for some sightseeing and afterward depart for Olympia. Overnight in Olympia, the cradle of the Olympic Games and the first capital of Greece. Enjoy dinner at the hotel this evening.

Day 6
Mar. 11, 2020 | OLYMPIA - DELPHI (B, D)
In the morning visit the Archaeological site with the Sanctuary of Olympian Zeus, the Ancient Stadium and the Archaeological Museum.
The drive continues on through the plains of Eliad and Achaia until we pass over the magnificent bridge which crosses the Corinthian Bay, connecting Rion to Antirion. Pass by the picturesque towns of Nafpactos (Lepanto) and Itea, before arriving in Delphi. Enjoy dinner at the hotel.

Day 7
Mar. 12, 2020 | DELPHI - KALAMBAKA (B, D)
In the morning visit the Archaeological site and the Museum. Depart for Kalambaka, a small town stated at the foot of the astonishing complex of Meteora with the gigantic rocks. Enjoy dinner at hotel.

Day 8
Mar. 13, 2020 | KALAMBAKA - METEORA - ATHENS (B)
Visit Meteora, among striking scenery, perched on top of huge rocks which seem to be suspended in mid-air, stand ageless Monasteries, where you can see exquisite specimens of Byzantine art. Return to Athens via Trikala, Lamia, Thermopylae (short stop to see across the road the Leonida’s Monument). Arrive in Athens early in the evening.

Today your day is at leisure to explore the city of Athens. In the evening transfer to a typical taverna for a farewell dinner with traditional Greek entertainment!
