DAY 1 | CANADA - MADRID
Travel from your departure city to Madrid with inflight meals.


DAY 2 | MADRID (B, D)
Upon arrival to Madrid in the morning, your tour manager and coach driver will welcome you and take you on a panoramic orientation tour of Madrid. In the afternoon, this tour will continue and based on availability, we may have time to visit the Canadian Embassy, before dinner at a local restaurant.

Overnight in Madrid (3 nights)


DAY 3 | MADRID (B, D)
Meet a local guide for a walking tour of the city centre, seeing the Palacio Real, Plaza de Oriente, Plaza de la Villa, Plaza Mayor and Puerta del Sol. Visit the world-famous Prado Museum or the Reina Sofia Museum. In the afternoon, we will visit the “Parque del Retiro” before dinner at the hotel or local restaurant.


DAY 4 | MADRID (B, D)
Spend the morning travelling to Toledo, for a guided tour passing Plaza de Zocodover, a central market place, Monasterio de San Juan de los Reyes, the Tagus River, Castillo de San Servando and the Infantry Academy. In the afternoon we have a choice of watching a soccer match or visiting the Real Madrid soccer stadium, Santiago Bernabéu and Museum.
Dinner at a local restaurant.


DAY 5 | MADRID - SEVILLE (B, D)
In the morning we will continue to Mérida followed by a visit to the Roman Theatre and and local excavations, and onwards to Seville, arriving for dinner.

DAY 6 | SEVILLE (B, D)
In the morning take part in a guided tour of the centre of Seville including a visit to the Cathedral, the Alcazar, Plaza de Espãna and Santa Cruz.
In the afternoon, visit the Plaza de Toros and the Bullfighting Museum. Enjoy free time to explore the Triana Quarter and the Golden Tower before dinner at a hotel or local restaurant.


DAY 7 | SEVILLE - CÓRDOBA - GRANADA (B, D)
Today, we depart for Córdoba, to visit the great Mosque Cathedral of Córdoba – the Mezquita. In the afternoon we travel to Granada and spend the rest of the day with a guide, exploring the city before dinner at a local restaurant.

DAY 8 | GRANADA - MÁLAGA (B, D)
Start with visiting the world-famous Alhambra Palace and its beautiful gardens. Later we depart for Málaga and participate in a Flamenco lesson, before dinner at a local restaurant.

DAY 9 | MÁLAGA - BARCELONA (B, D)
Spend the morning on a guided city tour of the old town and city centre of Málaga passing by its most remarkable sites, before sitting down to a traditional paella lunch at the seaside. In the afternoon take the AVE high speed train from Malaga to Barcelona.

DAY 10 | BARCELONA (B, D)
In the morning meet a local guide for a walking tour of Barcelona. See the Plaza de España, Gran Via, Plaça de Catalunya, Passeig de Grácia with the famous Gaudí buildings, Avenida Diagonal, Sagrada Familia and Parque Güell.
In the afternoon, visit the Picasso museum, a key reference for understanding the formative years of Pablo Picasso. The artist’s genius is revealed through the 4,251 works that make up the permanent collection. We follow the museum with dinner at a local restaurant.


DAY 11 | BARCELONA (B, D)
Explore the Gothic Quarter, El Barri Gòtic, during an interactive City Quest. Discover the narrow roads in small groups and see the Barcelona Cathedral “La Seu”, Plaça Reial, Plaça Sant Jaume, Mirador de Colom and the famous Las Ramblas. Visit the Market “La Boqueria” and buy some local delicacies for your lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy Barcelona or visit the FC Barcelona soccer stadium, Camp Nou.
Later, make your way to Montjuïc to see the fountains at the nightly show and enjoy a late dinner at a local restaurant.


DAY 12 | BARCELONA - TO HOME
Depart for home.
