LAKE COMO-ALL INCLUSIVE

Day 1: Milan.
Make your own way to Milan where you can meet us for the scheduled group transfers to your resort on Lake Como, renowned throughout the world for its natural beauty and inspiring mountain scenery. Boasting affluent towns and exquisite villas, this exceptional area in the north of Italy is also noted for its relaxed atmosphere and is a favoured retreat of the rich and famous. After time to settle in at the hotel, get to know your travelling companions this evening over a welcome drink and dinner.

Day 2: Bellagio.
Today we include a visit by ferry boat to Villa Melzi Gardens in Bellagio. Set directly on the shores of the lake, the gardens are a delight to explore. Lush trees and softly scented borders are decorated with elegant sculptures and connected by meandering paths. As we explore, we’ll also be treated to fantastic views of the lake’s calm waters and the majestic mountains that encircle it. Later, you’ll have some free time to explore Bellagio with your travelling companions, before returning to the hotel by ferry.

Day 3: Lake Maggiore, Villa Taranto & the Borromean Islands.
We’ll discover more of the region’s incredible highlights on today’s full-day tour. We’ll soak up the stunning scenery of Lake Maggiore, then continue on to the famous Botanical Gardens of the Villa Taranto at Pallanza. Featuring more than 20,000 different species of plants from all over the world, they are a true gardeners’ paradise. A short boat trip across the lake takes us to tiny Isola Bella – one of the Borromean Islands within the lake. Boasting a magnificent 17th century palace and impressive terraced gardens, it has long been used as an idyllic sanctuary.​

Day 4: Como Town.
Como Town is located at the southern tip of the lake and today we include a visit here. After time to explore the ancient walls, historic architecture and lively square with your Tour Manager, we'll drive around the lake back to our resort.​

Day 5: Cadenabbia - at Leisure.
An optional excursion today will take you to the exclusive Swiss resort of St Moritz. We’ll journey on the Bernina Railway, enjoying a scenic train ride to this elegant town located by a sparkling mountain lake. Admire sensational views, go shopping with your travelling companions or simply relax in the sunshine before returning to your hotel by road.

Day 6: Cadenabbia - at Leisure.
You can spend another relaxing day in Cadenabbia, or maybe you’ll choose to join our optional excursion to the elegant Villa Monastero in Varenna. Sitting on the eastern shores of Lake Como, the villa boasts a beautiful garden which stretches along the water’s edge.

Day 7: Cadenabbia - at Leisure.
Today has been left free for you explore at leisure. Alternatively, you could venture out on one of the excellent hiking paths or simply laze by the pool and soak up the sunshine. This evening we’ll enjoy a farewell get-together, the perfect way to round off an amazing tour.

Day 8: Milan - Departure.
