Get a taste for the top attractions in Madrid on a panoramic tour of the city by coach.
Along the way you'll tour historic plazas like Plaza Mayor and Plaza de la Villa and see intriguing neighbourhoods like the district of Salamanca, Plaza Castilla and Parque del Oeste. View the city's grand boulevards, as your guide shares details on their history and significance. Your afternoon is free for shopping or exploring.

DAY 4 | Mar. 3, 2020 | Madrid - Avila - Salamanca - Porto (B)
After breakfast, depart for Avila, a city with a well-preserved medieval wall surrounding the old town. Continue on to Salamanca, a university city featuring various World Heritage listed architecture and art. Afterwards, we journey on to Porto in Portugal.

DAY 5 | Mar. 4, 2020 | Porto (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. With the knowledge of a local guide, visit Porto’s best Gothic, Romanesque, Baroque, and Neo-classical style monuments and learn the intricacies of them all. Admire top attractions including the Stock exchange building, Santa Clara church and the famous Porto Cathedral.
Your afternoon is at leisure. You may wish to visit a famous winery and taste the world-famous port wine.

DAY 6 | Mar. 5, 2020 | Porto - Coimbra - Fatima (B)
After breakfast we depart for Coimbra known as the birthplace of Fado and the city with one of the oldest universities in Europe.
Continue to Fatima the centre of the Christian faith with its impressive Basilica and the Cova da Iria place where the Virgin Mary appeared.
We will see the Chapel of the Apparitions, heart of the sanctuary, with the tombs of the three shepherds, Lucia, Francisco and Jacinta.
In the evening there is a possibility to attend the procession of the candles.

DAY 7 | Mar. 6, 2020 | Fatima - Nazaré - Alcobaça - Lisbon (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. Depart to the Batalha Monastery, a masterpiece of Gothic and Manueline style and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Continue to the picturesque fishing town of Nazaré and on to Alcobaça another UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit a 12th century church and admire the tombs of Pedro and Inés de Castro.
We then continue to Lisbon and check into our hotel.
Optional night tour to attend a typical Fado show with Portuguese songs and music.

DAY 8 | Mar. 7, 2020 | Lisbon (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy a morning sightseeing tour of Lisbon and explore the city. The rest of your afternoon is at leisure.

Breakfast at the hotel. Depart at 7:30 a.m. for Caceres a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Walk through the Plaza Mayor and the Medievil Old Town. Afterwards, continue towards Cordoba.
Enjoy dinner at your hotel.

DAY 10 | Mar. 9, 2020 | Cordoba - Seville (B, D)
Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy a tour of the city, the Mosque and the Jewish Quarter. In the afternoon, we reach Seville. Enjoy dinner at the hotel this evening.

DAY 12 | Mar. 11, 2020 | Seville - Ronda - Costa del Sol (B, D)
After breakfast at the hotel you will drive south and pass through typical villages until you reach Ronda. Enjoy free time to admire this town of Celtic origin and the marvelous view of the valley and mountain range. In the afternoon continue on to the Costa del Sol, surrounded by luxurious ports, white-washed villages and impeccable beaches that dot the southern coast of Spain.

DAY 14 | Mar. 13, 2020 | Costa del Sol - Rabat - Casablanca (B, D)
After breakfast you will drive along the picturesque tourist route of Costa del Sol and arrive at Tarifa where you will board a ferry boat for a short crossing of the strait of Gibraltar towards Africa.
Arrive in Tangier, Morocco, and disembark, clear customs and then drive southwards via Larache to Rabat. Enjoy a panoramic city tour and see the Royal Palace from outside, the Mohammed V Mausoleum, and the unfinished Hassan Tower, all important examples of the Almohade architecture.
Afterwards, continue to Casablanca, the economic capital of Morocco.
Your afternoon is at leisure to explore this European-flavoured, sophisticated, Arabic city.

DAY 15 | Mar. 14, 2020 | Casablanca - Marrakech (B, D)

Savour the Majorelle and Menara botanical gardens and discover the stalls and entertainment of Djemaa el Fnaa square, before enjoying dinner at your hotel.

Afterwards depart for Fez, the most monumental of the Imperial Cities, and known for its University of “Al-Karaouine” the largest Islamic sanctuary in Morocco.

DAY 18 | Mar. 17, 2020 | Fez - Costa del Sol (B, D)
After breakfast depart for Tangier, board the ferry to return across the strait of Gibraltar back to Spain. Upon arrival in Spain continue towards Costa del Sol before enjoying dinner at your hotel.

After breakfast depart for Granada, a city both gritty and compelling.
Visit the world-famous Alhambra complex and Generalife Gardens that have inspired several authors with its sounds and sights, such as the “Tales of the Alhambra” by W. Irving.

DAY 21 | Mar. 20, 2020 | Granada - Toledo - Madrid (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. Drive northward towards Castilla, by the Tagus River, until you reach the impressive Imperial city of Toledo.
Toledo is a UNESCO World Heritage city where Christians, Moors and Jews, have lived together over time. Enjoy a panoramic city tour of this historical old town through its narrow streets. Next, visit a “damasquinado” (gold and silver inlaying in iron) factory.
Continue to Madrid. Few cities boast an artistic pedigree quite as pure as Madrid’s. Many art lovers return here again and again. For centuries, Spanish royals showered praise and riches upon the finest artists of the day, from home-grown talents such as Goya and Velázquez to Flemish and Italian greats.
