Enjoy a full-day sightseeing tour; a great introduction to your Danish experience, offering you a whole day of fun in the city! Dating back to 1043, the city is full of historic landmarks, and interesting sights and museums.
Your local guide will walk you through the Tivoli Gardens and introduce you to the secrets of Danish life, food and drink and talk to you about Copenhagen’s fascinating royal history. Hear secret insider stories about the Royal Guards at Amalienborg, Rosenborg and Christiansborg palaces, the latter of which is better known as the Parliament building.
No Copenhagen sightseeing tour is complete without saying hello to the Little Mermaid and finding out why everything is not as it seems with her. By the end of the day you’ll know the city like a local!

See another side to this lovely city with a cruise along its charming canals. Visit the quaint old harbour at Nyhavn and beautiful Rosenborg Castle and, of course, the famous statue of the Little Mermaid. Alternatively, venture into the countryside and enjoy its panoramic vistas, fairy tale castles and the village of Fredensborg.
Transfer to the cruise terminal to board your cruise, embarking commences at 1 p.m. and the cruise departs at 8 p.m.

Enjoy a scenic drive to the German capital and savour landmarks like the Brandenburg Gate and the glorious Charlottenburg Palace. Stroll down Unter den Linden, see the site of the Berlin Wall and take a boat ride along the city's canals.
Explore on your own and visit one of the many museums. Alternatively,
discover charming Warnemünde and its lovely Gothic church, market square and seaside promenade.
DAY 6 | Sept. 6, 2019 | At sea (B, L, D)
Enjoy the amenities onboard your cruise ship as you cruise at sea.
DAY 7 | Sept. 7, 2019 | Tallinn (B, L, D)
Arrive 8:00 a.m. Depart 10:00 p.m.
Step back in time as you walk through this beautifully preserved medieval town and discover its upper and lower levels, the guild houses, the churches and squares, the famous apothecary shop and the exquisite town hall. See delightful parks, Baroque palaces and a ruined 15th century convent. Alternatively, visit a lovely recreated rural Estonian village by the sea.

Arrive 9:00 a.m.
Today a private shore excursion is included for Merit Travel guests. As a special treat you are invited to experience the art treasures of the Hermitage Museum on a private excursion with a curator guide. You will be picked up from the cruise terminal for a private excursion to explore breathtaking St. Petersburg on a city tour, including the Peter and Paul Fortress.
