South Africa has eleven official languages including English, Afrikaans and nine indigenous African languages. English is widely spoken in major cities and national parks.
The population of South Africa is 52.98 million as of 2013.
A valid passport is required to enter all countries. The passport must be valid for at least six months beyond the date of your expected departure from the country. In South Africa, the passport must have at least two empty pages for a temporary visitor permit, which allows a stay of 90 days. Travellers should check with the High Commission of the Republic of South Africa and its consulates for up-to-date information.
