Merit Travel’s Hosted Tours are expertly-crafted and curated by Merit Travel, to bring you the best travel experiences and unforgettable memories. The 2019-20 Hosted Tours program offers short vacations of nine to 21 nights, to popular and lesser known destinations around the world.
Themed Itineraries
Hosted Tours itineraries, themes and destinations are similar to our Longstays program, but are shorter periods of approximately nine – 21 days as opposed to up to 30-day stays. Tour programs are tailored to focus on themes such as history, cuisine and ‘must-see and do’ experiences, delivering a more personalised and interesting experience. Tours can be both land-based and cruising across oceans and along rivers and waterways.
Expert Guides
In addition to having your own local guide, tours often include special guests who are experts in the tour theme or destination, providing a greater ability to explore the lifestyles, culture, natural attractions, cuisine and history of the region.
Destinations
Hosted land-based tours will journey to destinations in South, Central and North America, Western and Eastern Europe and Asia. Hosted cruise tours will visit destinations including Nordic and Northern Europe, West & East Coast USA, the Mediterranean, South Pacific and includes Transatlantic voyages.
